Alison Velázquez is as wellness expert, trained chef, author and entrepreneur. She attended the University of Illinois for undergrad. After a quick stint in corporate, she left to pursue her passion - health & wellness. She’s a certified Pilates Instructor and a graduate of the Culinary Program at Kendall College in Chicago who’s focus has been combining food + fitness to help clients successfully achieve their health goals. Siempre Soups is an extension of her lifestyle, which she created to make healthy eating simple and delicious. Penguin RandomHouse published her cookbook “Souping” (Dec 2015). She lives in the South Loop area of Chicago, loves trying out new workouts and kale salads.
